FESTIVAL REGISTRATION STEPSSTEP 1: The director/teacher/school representative should complete your school's Interest Survey
STEP 2: Send your personalized Registration Collection Google Sheet to your students. STEP 3: Set a deadline for students to complete the information (at least a week before our deadline so you have time to track down last minute students who forgot). STEP 4: Import data from the Registration Collection Sheet to your Official Registration Form STEP 5: Confirm completion of your Registration Form with [email protected]. NOTE: Hotel and Lunch/Dinner meals are NOT included. |

TROUPE DIRECTORS & CHAPERONESTroupe Directors and Chaperones will initially pay for Festival Registration. Chaperones and Troupe Directors will have the opportunity to volunteer at Festival to receive the cost of registration. Up to 2 Chaperones and 1 Troupe Director is eligible from each troupe. The cost of registration that will be refunded, will not include the cost of food.

Please check out our web pages related to the following in order to register for those events. Students NOT TEACHERS should be registering for additional events including college auditions, scholarships, and Thespys.
VIRGINIA THESPIAN FESTIVAL REGISTRATION PAYMENT POLICY
Introduction: The Virginia Thespian Festival is committed to providing an exceptional and enriching experience for all participants. To ensure the smooth execution of the festival and allocate resources effectively, we have established a non-refundable registration policy. Please read this policy carefully before registering for the event.

Conclusion: By registering for the Virginia Thespian Festival, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by this non-refundable registration policy. We appreciate your understanding and support as we work to make the festival a memorable and successful event for all participants
Please note that this policy is subject to change without notice. Participants are encouraged to review the policy periodically for any updates or revisions.
Non-Refundable Registration Fee:
- All registrations for the Virginia Thespian Festival are non-refundable.
- Once registered, there will be no refunds for any reason, including but not limited to personal schedule conflicts, changes in availability, illness, or any other unforeseen circumstances.
Transfer of Registration:
- Registrations may be transferred to another participant of the same group or organization.
- Transfer requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] no later than December 1st.
- A transfer fee of $30 will apply for each registration transfer.
Cancellation of the Event:
- In the unlikely event that the Virginia Thespian Festival is canceled, rescheduled, or modified due to unforeseen circumstances, natural disasters, or other emergencies, no refunds will be issued.
- Registered participants will be offered the option to transfer their registration to the rescheduled event or to a future Virginia Thespian Festival, subject to availability.
No-Show Policy:
- Participants who do not attend the festival will not be eligible for refunds or transfers.
- For each week the registration is not paid a 3% late fee will be assessed. Late fees start accruing Nov. 20th!
- Lack of payment will result from expulsion from all future events.
Payment Processing Fees:
- Payment processing fees incurred during the registration process are non-refundable.
Exceptions:
- Exceptions to this non-refundable policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis, only in extraordinary circumstances, and at the sole discretion of the Virginia Thespian Festival organizers.

Payment Due Date: All registration fees must be paid in full by December 1st of each year for the Virginia Thespian Festival. Failure to adhere to this deadline may result in late fees and additional charges.
Late Fee Assessment: A late fee of 3% of the total registration fee will be assessed for each week that payment is not received beyond the December 1st deadline. Late fees will begin to accrue on December 2nd.
Credit Card Processing Fee: A 3% processing fee will be added to all credit card payments. This fee covers the cost incurred by the event/organization for processing credit card transactions.
Payment by Check: Payments made by check must be post-marked no later than December 1st to be considered on time.
Checks should be made payable to Virginia Thespians. Please include the participant's name, organization, and a contact phone number on the check or accompanying documentation.
Consequences of Non-Payment:
Failure to make full payment by the due date may result in:
