FESTIVAL REGISTRATION STEPSSTEP 1: The director/teacher/school representative should complete the Interest Form. Regular registration runs from September 15 through November 14.
STEP 2: Upon receipt of your school’s interest survey, you will be sent a personalized registration form to use with your students (look for this within 5 business days of submitting your Interest Form). STEP 3: Set a deadline for students to complete the information (at least a week before our regular registration deadline of November 14, so you have time to track down last minute students who forgot). STEP 4: Copy data from the Registration Collection Sheet to your Official Registration Form, following the 2026 VTF Registration Instructions. STEP 5: Confirm completion of your Registration Form by sending an email to [email protected]. NOTE: Hotel reservations and Lunch/Dinner meals are NOT included. |

HOW TO REGISTER FOR SPECIAL EVENTS
VIRGINIA THESPIAN FESTIVAL REGISTRATION PAYMENT POLICY
Introduction: The Virginia Thespian Festival is committed to providing an exceptional and enriching experience for all participants. To ensure the smooth execution of the festival and allocate resources effectively, we have established a non-refundable registration policy. Please read this policy carefully before registering for the event.

Conclusion: By registering for the Virginia Thespian Festival, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by this non-refundable registration policy. We appreciate your understanding and support as we work to make the festival a memorable and successful event for all participants
Refunds and policy changes: Registration fees are non-refundable, except as stated in the event/organization's refund policy. Any refunds will be subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the refund policy. These payment policies may be subject to change without notice. Participants are encouraged to review the policy periodically for updates or revisions.
Non-Refundable Registration Fee:
- All registrations for the Virginia Thespian Festival are non-refundable.
- Once registered, there will be no refunds for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to, personal schedule conflicts, changes in availability, illness, weather, school administration cancellation, or any other unforeseen circumstances.
Transfer of Registration:
- Registrations may be transferred to another participant of the same group or organization.
- Transfer requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] no later than December 1st.
- A transfer fee of $30 will apply for each registration transfer.
Cancellation of the Event:
- In the unlikely event that the Virginia Thespian Festival is canceled, rescheduled, or modified due to unforeseen circumstances, natural disasters, or other emergencies, no refunds will be issued.
- Registered participants will be offered the option to transfer their registration to the rescheduled event or to a future Virginia Thespian Festival, subject to availability.
No-Show Policy:
- Participants who do not attend the festival will not be eligible for refunds or transfers.
- In order to remain in good standing and in order to attend the following year's festival, participants who do not attend the festival will need to pay in full for the festival they missed, including the 20% late fee.
Payment Processing Fees:
- Payment processing fees incurred during the registration process are non-refundable.
Exceptions:
- Exceptions to this non-refundable policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis, only in extraordinary circumstances, and at the sole discretion of the Virginia Thespian Festival organizers.
