For Your Voice in Film- Gonna give the kids a blueprint for how to start their artistic, creative career today instead of waiting for the right time/place/gadget/permission/set of circumstances. Use the people, places, and things you have available to you and make the best thing you can now. Rinse and Repeat. Who needs movie studios and TV networks when you have Youtube, TikTok, Vimeo and Instagram? Some of this will be a lecture, but most of it will be a back and forth dialogue with them to see what kind of things they're interested in pursuing. Once everyone is pumped up on the idea of making stuff, I'll have volunteers come up and we'll film something, watch it, discuss, etc... In a word, I want these kids to leave the workshop feeling EMPOWERED. Available during Workshop Session
