*REGISTRATION FOR 2023 IS NOW CLOSED! JOIN US IN 2024! Tuesday, September 6 - Registration OPENS September 6-November 4 - Open Registration November 5- December 2 - Late Registration Please note that payment is due 2 WEEKS after Troupe registration is complete. Note- if you are applying to bring a show, plan to apply and pay early for selection. Scroll down for more registration details! Please note, troupe directors must register all students and chaperones. Students will register themselves for student events through open water (coming in Oct.). Registration Timeline - Starting September 6th
No Hidden Fees: Registration includes - a festival shirt, personalized badge, access to all workshops (first come, first serve basis) tickets to all of the performances/ ceremonies, vendor-provided swag (as it's made available), access to your troupe database, Eventsential festival-specific app, S'more newsletters, and Intuitive Registration Systems. The festival board and staff have secured conference rates at hotels (most provide breakfast.) NOTE: For student events, registration is through Open Water and open Oct- Nov. 4th. Payment will be accepted through that program.
General Registration (September 6-November 4)
Thespians, Sponsors, Chaperones = $135.00 (Refunded for Sponsors and Chaperones IF completing volunteer or professional development)
Thespian Apprentices (also known as Non- or Not-Yet-Inducted Thespians) = $140.00
One-Day Visit (recommended for Jr Thespians [Middle School]) = $75.00 (Saturday only)
Late Registration* - (November 5-December 2)
Thespians, Sponsors, Chaperones = $155.00
Thespian Apprentices = $160.00
One-Day Visit (recommended for Jr Thespians [Middle School]) = $75.00 (Saturday only)
Delayed Registration Fee = $50.00 per school. This one time fee is due for any late registration(s).
*LATE REGISTRATIONS ARE UNABLE TO SIGN UP FOR INDIVIDUAL EVENTS, COLLEGE AUDITIONS, AS WELL AS SCHOLARSHIPS AND ARE NOT GUARANTEED A FESTIVAL T-SHIRT OR PRINTED BADGE(s).
Optional/Additional Fees
Thespys (formerly Individual Events) - $15 per student per event
Duet and Group Thespys - $20 total per event
Scholarships - $15 per participant
College Auditions - $15 per participation
Chapter Select One-Act Adjudication - $100, max of 1 entry per school*
ITF Mainstage Adjudication- $750.00, max 1 entry per school*
Cancellation Fee - $50.00 if you register to bring a Mainstage or One-Act and cancel after December 2.
*We are not waiving or refunding registration fees after the close of registration if you do/can not come and are still registered to come at this time.
*Fees are adjusted under certain circumstances. For example: if a school is asked to perform a one act or main stage due to need the fee is waived. If more than one school is seeking ITF adjudication the fee is reduced for each school. Please contact the state chapter director/ executive director (contact listed above) if you have any questions.
*This is a non-refundable event. If you need to drop registration(s) after the close of registration, you will still be required to pay for the registrants as we are a non-profit and base our budget for many aspects of festival around our registration numbers. Furthermore, you must be the invoices in full, in order to remain in good standing with the Virginia Chapter and attend our festival(s) in the future.
